The vote for the proposed Capital Project will take place on Tuesday December 10, 2024 from noon to 9 pm at Solvay High School. Scope1. SHS • Replace remaining sidewalk at bus deck & front of art wing • Mill & top track, new surfacing, fence repairs, benches, add fiber to press box • Replace stadium lighting and path lighting • Replace scoreboard, new foundation, back panel & play clocks • Replace elevator in original building • Replace bus loop and parking lot lighting • Replace exterior and interior doors near cafeteria • Replace exterior and interior doors near main entrance • Replace remaining air handling units 2. SMS • Replace exterior and interior doors near cafeteria 3. SES • Replace exterior and interior doors near main entrance • Replace main office roof top unit and convert to VAV Funding - Building Aid $4.25m & Capital Reserve $950,000 Important Dates: November 18, 2024 – Public hearing at 5:30 before BOE meeting December 10, 2024 – Referendum vote January-June 2025 – Design & then SED submission November 2025 – anticipated SED approval December 2025- Bidding Mobilization/Construction – Spring-Summer 2026 |
