Solvay HS Students Inducted Into the National Technical Honor Society


On Thursday, November 21, 2019, three Solvay High School students were inducted into the National Technical Honor Society.

The ceremony was held at the Holiday Inn on Electronics Parkway. Over 100 students from schools throughout the county were inducted. Solvay Inductees were: Kirstyn Devereaux--Health Occupations Lian (Jenny) Pui-- Health Occupations Joshua Shields--New Visions Medical Professions

As a member of the National Technical Honor Society inductees takes the following pledge: As a member of the National Technical Honor Society, I pledge to maintain the highest standards of personal conduct. I will apply myself to continue a record of scholastic achievement, and I will strive for excellence in all aspects of my education. I will invest my talents, my skills, and my knowledge in a career of my own choosing and shall always endeavor to uphold my obligations as a citizen of my community and my country.

Congratulations to Kirstyn, Lian, and Joshua! They have represented Solvay High School well!
