Solvay ES Fall Harvest Literacy Night

The with the leaves changing colors and cooler temperatures on the horizon, Solvay Elementary School welcomed the changing of the seasons with the Fall Harvest Literacy Night. On Tuesday, October 25, families and students -- ranging from pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, and first grade -- were invited to attend the event at Solvay Elementary School.

The Fall Harvest Literacy Night was launched by a read aloud from Solvay Elementary School teachers. After that, students and their families visited four centers that ranged from exploration of music and art to a book swap. All centers were literacy based and gave students and families a chance to interact with their teachers and the Solvay community in an educational setting, while also sharing milk and cookies together.

Thank you to everyone who came out to attend this event!
