Community Serve-Ace: Dig Pink Volleyball Game

For the month of October, a group of Solvay students formed the Solvay Community Serve-Ace Dig Pink Team. The team, comprised of students from across the Solvay district, used their skills on and off the volleyball court to work together to raise funds for finding a cure for breast cancer.

On Thursday, October 13, the team hosted and participated in the CNY Dig Pink Rally taking place across Central New York. The rally consisted of 16 local high schools throughout Central New York. As a part of the campaign, there were 10 matches throughout high school's across Central New York from September 27 to October 17.

By rallying together, these local high schools donated to The Side-Out Foundation to help researchers find a cure for breast cancer. At their October 13 event, the Solvay team raised over $2,500, helping them reach a total of $2,798 contributed to the campaign. Great job, Solvay!
