Solvay Improves School-to-Home Communications with New Website

The Solvay Union Free School District is pleased to announce the launch of its new website: www.solvayschools.org. Designed and developed in collaboration with the Central New York Regional Information Center (CNYRIC), Solvay aims to provide its school community with up-to-date information, as well as showcase the district’s vibrant students, academics, and athletic programs.

Thanks to the nearly 125 teachers, parents, and community members who participated in the district’s online survey during the month long investigation, Solvay was able to design the website around the unique needs of its community.  

The new website features the following:

• Improved navigation
• New, online district calendar
• Rotating photos of current students on home page
• News articles
• Professional, consistent appearance throughout website
• Easy-to-use staff directory

The district is confident that the website will be a welcome improvement in its school to home communication efforts. The district community is encouraged to visit the website frequently to view updated photos, news articles, announcements, important information and more.
