UPK 2026-2027 RFP

Solvay UFSD operates a universal PreK program for 4-year-old children through the support of a New York State Education Department UPK grant. Thus, Education Law and Commissioner’s Regulations (8 NYCRR 151-1) requires the District to submit an RFP to investigate collaboration with PreK providers operating within the District.

If you are interested in collaborating with Solvay UFSD to provide more UPK slots for 4-year-olds who meet the District’s residency requirements, please email jhehl@solvayschools.org to request the RFP.
All proposals are due on Monday, March 2, 2026, by 3:00 pm.
