Earthquake Engineering @ SES

Our fourth graders have been learning about how engineers have come up with ways to make building earthquake resistant.  Now it is their turn to try to build a structure to withstand an earthquake.Their structures might include a strong foundation, cross bracing, a base isolator, a mass damper, and a center column used in pagodas.
