Solvay Girls Varsity Soccer Practices Team Building:
Building a sense of teamwork happens in many different ways. For the girls varsity soccer team at the Solvay Union Free School District, building teamwork occurred during a recent trip to Orenda Springs. Throughout the day, the team worked on ropes courses to overcome challenges together. On both the high ropes and low ropes course, the team practiced skills that could be applied on the soccer field. While doing this, the team also learned more about leadership and cooperation.
Their hard work paid off in a recent game against Marcellus Central School District. The team went on to win against Marcellus 1-0 for the first time since 2009. Congratulations to the girls varsity soccer team!
