Solvay Varsity Softball Presented with NYS Senate Resolution by Sen. DeFrancisco

Congratulations to the Solvay Varsity Softball Team!

On Tuesday, July 18, Senator DeFrancisco presented our State Champion Softball team with a New York State Legislative resolution that was passed by both houses. Senate Resolution #2948 was passed on June 20, 2017 and Assembly Resolution #664 was passed on June 19, 2017. The co-sponsored resolution reads: "Congratulating the Solvay Varsity Softball Team upon the occasion of capturing the New York State Public High School Athletic Association 2017 Softball Class B Championship."
 
Senator DeFrancisco presented every player with their own copy of the resolutions following a brief ceremony.
