Voter Qualifications
As stipulated by New York State Law, the following qualifications must be met in order to vote:
1.  You must be a citizen of the United States;
2.  You must be at least 18 years of age; and
3.  You must be a resident of the district for at least 30 days prior to May 17, 2024.

Absentee Ballot Requests
Qualified voters may obtain an application for an absentee ballot by contacting the Deputy District Clerk at aconklin@solvayschools.org or (315) 468-1111, option 7. Completed applications for absentee ballots must be received by the Deputy Clerk seven or more days prior to the Annual Election for your ballot to be mailed to you.  If your application is received by the Deputy Clerk between seven days and one day prior to the Annual Election, you or your designee must pick up the ballot at the Deputy Clerk’s office.  Your completed absentee ballot must be returned to the Deputy Clerk’s office by 5:00 p.m. on the date of the Annual Election in the envelope provide by the District.

Military Ballot Requests
Military voters who are qualified voters of the District may apply for a military ballot by requesting an application from the Deputy District Clerk at (315) 468-1111, option 7, or aconklin@solvayschools.org.   For a military voter to be issued a ballot, the Deputy District Clerk must have received a valid ballot application no later than 5:00 p.m. on April 19, 2024.   In a request for a military ballot application or ballot, the military voter may indicate their preference for receiving the application or ballot by mail, facsimile transmission or electronic mail.

Early Ballot Requests
Qualified voters may obtain an application for an early voter ballot by contacting the Deputy District Clerk at aconklin@solvayschools.org or (315) 468-1111, option 7.
