Note: Administrators, Teachers and Teaching Assistants require a NYS certification.  Background required for all appointments. 

1. NEW - The transportation department has an opening for a school bus dispatcher. This is a 12-month position to start on or about January 1, 2026.  This is a competitive Civil Service title.  Three (3) years of full-time experience or its part-time equivalent in school transportation or a related field such as commercial bus or truck transportation, either as a driver or having responsibility for scheduling and/or routing drivers. CDL with a PS endorsement is required. 
2. NEW - Solvay Middle School has an opening for a per diem substitute school nurse to start on or about March 1, 2026 through June 26, 2026. Hours are 7:45 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. RN license required. 
3. NEW - Solvay High School has an opening for a long-term teaching assistant to start on January 12, 2026 through June 26, 2026. Hours are 7:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. NYS certification is preferred. 
4. Solvay Elementary School has an opening for a probationary Physical Education teacher to start on or about November 6, 2025.
