Physicals

New York State law requires that all new entrants into Pre-K or Kindergarten, and 2nd, grade as well as all students entering a school district for the first time, have a physical exam completed within 12 months prior to the start of the current school year. This means that any physical dated on or after 9/8/2015 is acceptable.  

 A law was recently enacted that expands health screenings to include the dental health of students in New York State.  Dental appraisals are now requested at the same time a health appraisal is required.
