Haudenosaunee Storyteller Perry Ground's Visit to SES & SMS

Elementary and middle school Solvay students had the opportunity to hear from Haudenosaunee storyteller Perry Ground of the Onondaga Nation on February 13th. Mr. Ground treated students to lively retelling of stories like “The Earth on the Turtle’s Back” and many more. This visit was made possible by the Solvay Library Media team, Solvay’s district administrators, and BOCES Arts in Education funding.  Click on an image to see it enlarged.
