A Message from Solvay Superintendent Lawrence Wright

Dear Solvay Community Members:

It is with mixed emotions that I write to inform you of my resignation.  I have accepted an offer to join Rochester City School District's team as Deputy Superintendent.  

In the meantime, I will continue in my current role through August 15, 2017 and will be working with the Board of Education to ensure a smooth transition.  

It has truly been a pleasure serving this community for the past four and a half years.  Thank you for all that you have done and continue to do in support of our schools.  Solvay will always have a special place in my heart.
