Solvay Students Participate in Perennial Math Competition

On Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018, 12 children from the Solvay Union Free School District attended the Perennial Math Competition at Jordan Elbridge High School.

The Perennial Math Competition is held each year nationwide. The tournament provides children the opportunity to compete both individually and as a team. Students in grades 3-8 from local area schools attended this tournament. To help prepare students for this exciting event, Mrs. Alton, Ms. Ackerman, and Ms. Spicciati held math sessions after school.

Great job to all of the students and staff involved!
