Solvay Volleyball Community Serve-Ace game raises over $4,100
On October 5, the Solvay Union Free School District Volleyball Program participated in the Community Serve-Ace game. The two teams, comprised of students from across the Solvay district, used their skills on and off the volleyball court to work together to raise funds for the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation. Both teams took home a win, but even more importantly, they raised money for a wonderful charity. With the generous donations and participation from Solvay community members, parents, staff, and players, the teams raised over $4,100 for the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation. In the six years that the Solvay UFSD Volleyball Program has participated in the Community Serve-Ace game, this has been the most successful game so far. Since joining the Community Serve-Ace game in 2011, the Solvay volleyball program has raised over $12,000 to various causes.
Great job to everyone involved!
