Meet SMS's newest artists - Art Camp at Solvay Middle School a success

Students from Solvay Middle School recently dipped into their creative side, as they spent part of their summer exploring and creating art. Students entering grades six to nine were invited to join their peers for a week full of drawing, painting, and printmaking. 

From Monday, July 31 to Friday, August 4, students explored a variety of art making techniques, while also learning about featured master artists. Two sessions were held throughout the week, with Session 1 taking place from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for students entering sixth and seventh grade and Session 2 taking place from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. for students entering eighth and ninth grade.
