Solvay HS Drama Club Proudly Presents Rodgers and Hammersteins "Cinderella"

“Impossible things are happening everyday!”
 
The Solvay High School Drama Club is pleased to announce their spring musical, Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “Cinderella.” On Friday, March 10, Solvay High School will be one of the first in the area to debut the Broadway musical adaptation to the community.
 
Rodgers and Hammerstein’s version of “Cinderella” offers a new twist on the classic tale. The musical, which has been remade twice in 1957 and 1965, debuted on Broadway in 2013. The musical will feature many well-known songs, such as “In My Own Little Corner,” “Impossible/It's Possible,” and “Ten Minutes Ago.”
 
Solvay High School students have spent many months preparing and practicing to bring the musical to life for the Solvay community. The show has been directed by Christian (CJ) Oliver, choreographed by MacKenzie Gildemeyer, and produced by Jerry FitzGerald.
 
The cast of “Cinderella” includes Alexa Bagozzi (Dance Captain), Erica Bagozzi (Ensemble), Amy Christian (Ensemble), Cassie Cook (Music Captain), Kyra Crossett (Ensemble), John Dillon (Ensemble), Adam DeLucia (Ensemble), Dylon Ewers (Ensemble), Jacob Fitzmaurice (Topher), Anthony Fritzen (Ensemble),  Tessa Fritzen (Ensemble), Zoe Francemone (Ella), Mico Hayden (Ensemble), Jennifer Klix (Gabrielle), Anastasia La Flair (Ensemble), Mary Catherine Lopez (Madame), Nicholas Lopez (Sebastian),  Chasity Matta (Ensemble), Edward Nanno (Jean-Michel), Natalina Natoli (Ensemble), Marisa Presutto (Charlotte), Anna Rolince (Ensemble), Jianna Speach (Ensemble), Delana Thomas (Dance Captain), and Megan Vale (Lord Pinkleton).
 
“Cinderella” will debut in the Solvay High School Auditorium on Friday, March 10 at 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday, March 11 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. The matinee performance on Saturday, March 11 at 2 p.m. will be signed in American Sign Language.
 
Tickets are on sale now. Presale tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students 12 and under. Tickets will also be sold at the door the day of each performance for $12 for adults and $8 for students 12 and under.  Tickets can be purchased at the Solvay High School Main Office or by phone at 315-468-2551.
