SMS Students Participate in Perennial Math Tournament

Congratulations to five Solvay Middle School (MS) students for their participation in the Perennial Math Tournament!
 
On Saturday, January 21, five students from Ms. Ackerman’s class participated in a Perennial Math Tournament at Jordan Elbridge MS. Students participating were Chris Cappentta, Reis Cleland, Drake Rombach, Emma Rutkowki, and Namine Sierra. In addition to solving many challenging math problems, the students also came back to school with math games they plan to share with their classmates.
 
Solvay MS student Drake Rombach placed second out of all fourth grade students! Congratulations, Drake!
